Wound is an original photographic edition, darkroom-printed by the artist. The self-portraits explore the gendered body and the arctic landscape as sites for queer possibility within legacies of European imperialism, resource extraction and violence. The images were made while in residence in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, a Norwegian territory in the arctic, in 2018; the print edition was released in 2021.
